Plan Co. working in conjunction with Ando Architecture Ltd, have obtained non-notified resource consent for the establishment of six new dwellings in the Bayview suburb. The combination of two and three storey dwellings in duplex and terrace formats reflects the challenges of an irregular shaped site, in a residential area expected to undergo change to increase residential density levels. The proposal demonstrates excellent urban design outcome and principles, with great street presence, high levels of activation and passive surveillance, modulated facades that contribute to the visual amenity of the local environment whilst providing a high level of amenity by way of landscaping and privacy features for future residents.
